Description

It seems odd, considering Weston’s many sensual portraits and nudes, that he depicted actress Faith Domergue as prim and proper. While the actress was known for her smoldering sexuality, she is photographed here costumed for a film role that exemplified pent-up passion. She was starring as a nineteenth-century Corsican maiden who pushes her brother to avenge their father’s murder.
