Description
This elegant symmetrical roundel, probably from a tunic, features a central tree of life with leaves enclosing the bust of a woman on each side. Animals above the bowl and birds toward the top flank the tree which is framed by a sinuous vine.- (Mrs. Paul Mallon, Paris)1982(Goumaronart, Inc., New York, NY, sold to the Cleveland Museum of Art)The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH
