Pinnacle with Angel (pair)

Pinnacle with Angel (pair)

c. 1340
(Italian)
Unframed: 30.5 x 22.7 cm (12 x 8 15/16 in.)

Description

These pinnacles were originally set on top of a multipanel altarpiece that has now been lost. The angels' gestures and glances suggest that they were placed to the left and right of a central image.
