Description
Thomire was the most productive and famous bronze caster in Paris around 1800. The border of this flower stand was cast from the same molds used for a centerpiece signed by Thomire; therefore, the stand can safely be presumed to have been produced by Thomire as well.- Carrie Moss Halle.
