Men Trussing an Ox

Description
Several attendants are trussing an ox in preparation for its ritual slaughter, either as a food offering to the deceased or as part of the funerary feast. It is probably a direct copy of an Old Kingdom relief.- Thebes, Asasif, tomb of Mentuemhat (no. 34). Purchased from Mrs. Paul Mallon, Paris (Mallon 255)
