About The Event

Join us at the Community Arts Center for a special day of public programming, outside regular open hours. In celebration and honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., engage in the King Foundation’s 2025 theme, “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence.”

Participate in visual arts activities inspired by Dr. King’s legacy. Future Ink Graphics is offering the chance to print your own themed poster designed by a local artist. 

Guests are invited to use the University Circle Inc. shuttle to travel between locations (the CMA in University Circle and the CAC in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood) to explore more opportunities for engagement. Shuttle departures are every 20–30 minutes.

 

Te invitamos al Centro de Artes Comunitarias para un día especial de programación pública, fuera del horario regular de apertura. En celebración y honor al Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., participe en el tema 2025 de la Fundación King, "Misión Posible: Proteger la Libertad, la Justicia y la Democracia en el Espíritu de la No Violencia". 

Participa en actividades de artes visuales inspiradas en el legado del Dr. King. Future Ink Graphics ofrece la oportunidad de imprimir su propio póster temático diseñado por un artista local. 

Se invita a los invitados a utilizar el servicio de transporte de University Circle Inc. para viajar entre ubicaciones (el CMA en University Circle y el CAC en el vecindario de Clark-Fulton) para explorar más oportunidades de participación. Las salidas del servicio de transporte son cada 20-30 minutos.

Join us on Monday, January 20, when the Cleveland Museum of Art opens its doors for a free daylong celebration honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Explore how the moving passages of Dr. King’s writings and speeches shed light on the museum’s collection and create a work of art inspired by his legacy.
