About The Event
Join all current supporters at $5,000 or higher for a talk with Sarah Scaturro, who joined the museum in April 2020 as the Eric and Jane Nord Chief Conservator, to learn about her role at the museum and the CMA’s conservation lab. You will also hear about the exhibition Cycles of Life: The Four Seasons Tapestries, which offers visitors an in-depth look at a rare, complete set of tapestries in the museum’s collection that has not been displayed since 1953, due to their fragile condition. They were recently cleaned and conserved by tapestry specialists in Belgium, made possible through principal support by the late Emma Lincoln. After the talk, enjoy a cocktail reception and visit the paintings and objects conservation labs.
Leadership Circle members and annual supporters at $5,000+ will receive a digital invitation.
