About The Event

Join us for a presentation on the fascinating history of the First Ladies and their distinct and influential use of fashion in crafting their public images. Dr. Rabinovitch-Fox will share examples of works in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s collection as she unpacks how the First Ladies’ appearances have been perceived through art and culture.

Dr. Einav Rabinovitch-Fox is a lecturer in the department of history at Case Western Reserve University and specializes in modern American history and women’s and gender history.
