Showcasing three monumental gunpowder works — including one inspired by the Cuyahoga River — by contemporary Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang, this exhibition is part of Cuyahoga50. Cai Guo-Qiang joins David Stradling, co-author of Where the River Burned: Carl Stokes and the Struggle to Save Cleveland, for a lively discussion of Cai’s art and social and environmental matters on Wed, 6/26, free. Studio Go Summer Series

Studio Go, the museum’s mobile art studio, brings hands-on art experiences to summer events and community celebrations across northeast Ohio. In this summer event series, Studio Go partners with Recess Cleveland every Friday for an outdoor experience featuring art-making, recess games, and ample outdoor activities on the CMA’s outdoor campus.
