A horizontally oriented print in black ink on cream paper depicts a crowded interior beneath three stone arches. Centrally, a woman sits in a high-backed chair, flanked by a standing man and a figure holding a child. Figures wear seventeenth-century attire. Below the image, the title “L'Europe Allarmée pour le fils d'un Meunier” precedes three columns of Dutch text. An inscription on an arch reads, “HET WORD HIER NACH.”
