A gilt metal chalice features a bowl of marbled purple and white stone. Along the rim, a decorative gallery of alternating blue and green posts suspends white pearls. The gold stem incorporates a spherical amethyst. The flared base is richly adorned with enamel designs of green foliage, clusters of dark red grapes, and inset purple gems. Small enameled floral and leaf motifs encircle the bottom edge against the gold surface.
