Rebecca Horn’s Romanian governess taught her how to draw.

Description

Horn now works in different media from drawing and installation to photography and video. This compilation of films includes her performances and films she directed, including a feature-length comedy starring Donald Sutherland and Geraldine Chaplin. The photograph that accompanies the videos is from a performance she enacted in an elaborate “Cockfeather Mask” with which she would caress the face of a person to establish a physical bond.
