Description

This dish combines a precisely molded shape with a freehand design in overglaze color enamels.
A broad, horizontally oval porcelain dish with scalloped edges features a molded ginkgo leaf in the white center. Interlocking green and yellow enamel lines form vibrant geometric patterns that sweep inward from the sides. Deep blue and dark purple splotches accent the wavy rim and base. The composition contrasts the bright porcelain body with energetic, angular motifs and fluid pools of color along the perimeter.
