Description

This teapot has a well-balanced design of bamboo in underglaze blue and nyoi staff-head motifs applied to both sides at the shoulder.
A white-glazed porcelain vessel, shaped like a rounded teapot, features blue underglaze paintings of bamboo stalks and leaves. Two thin metal bars arch over the top, hooked through loops at the rim to form a high handle. A short spout extends to the right, while a small heart-shaped element is molded onto the left. A flat circular lid with a small metal ring sits in the top opening.
