Ohio City Farm, at six acres, is one of the largest contiguous urban farms in the country.

Description

Ohio City Farm is located just across the river from downtown Cleveland. It operates a farm stand and sells through a CSA subscription program managed by Refugee Response and hosts an educational and training program for low-income, public housing residents.
A horizontally oriented black-and-white photograph depicts a woman with a medium skin tone crouching in the center of a greenhouse. Facing our left, she reaches toward small plants in dark soil. She wears a light-colored t-shirt and dark shorts, her hair tied back. Symmetrical metal arches curve over her and recede into the background. Rows of leafy foliage fill the foreground and middle ground under even, diffused light.
