A vertically oriented gelatin silver print features a dense forest of slender trees rising from a smooth, white snow-covered ground. Dark trunks extend vertically, contrasting with thick snow on the branches, creating an overlapping pattern of black and white lines. The grove fills the composition and recedes into a hazy background. In the bottom right corner of the border, a handwritten signature appears (see "Inscriptions").
