A vertically oriented black-and-white photograph captures a complex construction site. The dark lattice of a crane cuts diagonally from the lower right toward the upper left, its cables crossing over an elevated passenger train that travels horizontally through the middle ground. Below, concrete foundations and rebar populate a deep excavation site. In the background, tiered highway overpasses and parked trucks are bathed in bright, high-contrast light.
