A vertically oriented etching in black ink on beige paper depicts a Venetian canal. An arched stone bridge spans the water where dark gondolas float, their shapes reflected in squiggly lines. Tiny figures cross the bridge. A tall, textured pole rises on the front right. Narrow buildings and a slender bell tower are outlined in the background beneath diagonal sky dashes. Handwritten notes and a signature line the bottom edge.
