A vertically oriented drawing in red and white chalk on cream paper depicts a reclining nude Nymph. The Nymph, with a light skin tone, lies on white cloth and reeds, her head on our left. From the background on our right, a muscular Faun with a light skin tone leans over her wearing a leaf wreath and holding foliage. Soft shading and highlights define the forms. A signature and date sit in the lower left.
