A horizontally oriented graphite drawing on buff-colored paper depicts a cluster of angular, gabled houses rendered in loose, overlapping outlines. Larger buildings dominate the center and right, while smaller outbuildings gather to our left. Sparse, vertical lines rise behind the rooftops into the blank space of the paper. Three pale circular stains mark the top edge, and small binding holes line the margin on the far left.
