A vertically oriented etching and aquatint in brown ink on cream paper depicts a large tree with layered, sketchy branches on our left beneath a crescent moon. A woman in a flowing white garment walks toward our right, followed by a shadowy figure. Dense hatching and curved hashes create shadows. Rounded text at the top reads "Colloque Sentimental de Paul Verlaine," while block letters in the lower left read "Glose POUR PIANO PAR."
