A vertical off-white manuscript page features thirteen lines of black Nasta'liq script, a style of Persian calligraphy, written with ink. The elegant text features fluid strokes and sits within a rectangular frame of thin blue and gold lines. A smaller heading is centered at the top. Broad, warm-toned stains mark the upper portion and right margin. Binding holes line the uneven right edge. The composition is centered on the page.
