A cream-colored manuscript page features eleven lines of fluid black Persian script in a central column. The uppermost line sits within its own rectangular compartment. A delicate border of gold and blue lines frames the composition. The surrounding margins are marked by irregular brown stains on the left and small binding holes on the right. The elegant, flowing calligraphy is set simply against the aged, unadorned paper.
