A vertically oriented etching features dense black strands of ink coating a central rectangle on off-white paper. Within the rectangle is an inverted triangular silhouette of thousands of overlapping lines that create a tangled texture. Wispy strands extend from the edges of the form and into the surrounding white space. Below, a number, signature, and the date 1971 are inscribed from our left to right.
