A vertically oriented linoleum cut in black ink depicts a dark boat hull centered within a rectangular border. Thick vertical lines rise toward the top edge, suggesting rigging. Jagged white cutouts flank the hull, representing light reflecting on water. In the upper third, horizontal lines and blocky forms define piers and buildings behind the boat. The initials VR are inscribed in the lower right corner.
