A vertically oriented lithograph in black ink depicts a woman with light skin tone seated in a high-backed armchair. Thick, expressive black lines outline her figure as she faces our right, chin resting on her hand. Her legs are crossed with one knee raised toward our left. Sweeping, layered strokes define the chair and her body against the off-white paper. To the bottom right, a small vessel is sketched in simple, lone outlines.
