A horizontally oriented color lithograph depicts a massive rock wall under a clear blue sky. Vertical ridges and deep grooves carve the cliff surface, appearing reddish-brown on our left and bright tan on our right. Strong sunlight from our right casts sharp shadows into the crevices. At the base, horizontal layers of dark brown rock meet a narrow strip of sandy ground. Repeated vertical lines create a rhythmic texture across the wall.
