A horizontally oriented etching depicts a rooster curled into a circular form on a light background. Thick, sketchy black lines curve along the left and top to suggest long tail feathers. The head is tucked toward the center, revealing a jagged comb. Below, a thin leg with sharp toes extends downward. Dark, textured hatching defines the bird's underside. Handwritten characters in the upper right corner read "J.G.f. n. 2. A."
