Description

These six cards were sent to Evelyn and Bill Ward by Yuji Abe, a conservator of Japanese scrolls and the proprietor of Yoseido Gallery in Tokyo, who commissioned his best artists to produce annual New Year’s greetings. Abe’s yearly visits to Cleveland encouraged the Wards and the museum to collect modern Japanese prints.
