A horizontally oriented ink and color drawing across two pages depicts Stand-in Monju, a woman with light skin seated on a reclining ox. Facing right with downcast eyes and long dark hair, she wears a pink and cream garment and holds a staff topped with a lit candle. The ox is rendered with gray washes. In the lower right, black Japanese calligraphy and a red seal appear against a plain background.
