A horizontally oriented black-and-white photograph depicts four massive industrial structures looming in the upper background, their angled arms silhouetted against a pale sky. Below, mounds of dark material and railroad cars fill a yard; one car is marked 'P C 50 14 24'. Utility poles stand at the far left. Much of the foreground and the structures are cast in deep shadow, emphasizing the stark industrial landscape.
