This impression of a book of woodblock-printed designs is missing a spread that depicts a crane.
An accordion-style woodblock folding book on cream pages depicts a mountain landscape in muted grays and greens. On the left, a distant peak rises through soft, hazy washes. Centered and to the right, rounded, undulating cliffs are marked with small, green tree clusters. Bare, spindly branches emerge from a dark slope in the foreground. Vertical Japanese calligraphy and a red seal feature in the upper right corner.
