Did You Know?

This impression of a book of woodblock-printed designs is missing a spread that depicts a crane.
A vertically oriented print in ink and gray wash on cream paper depicts Jurojin, an older man with a long white beard, downcast eyes, and a cap. He wears a wide-sleeved robe and faces right. To the right, a deer with branching antlers stands behind him, looking toward the viewer. Fluid lines and washes define the figures, and a horizontal crease marks a fold across the center of the page.
