Did You Know?

This impression of a book of woodblock-printed designs is missing a spread that depicts a crane.
A horizontally oriented two-page spread on tan paper features four large Chinese characters within a double-line border. Two columns of two characters are rendered in dark gray ink with thick, coarse, dry-brush strokes. In the upper right corner sits a small, oval red stamp with white characters on red, while a tiny circular red seal appears in the bottom right. The ink varies from solid blocks to textured, streaking lines.
