Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
A woodblock print across a two-page spread features black rectangular borders framing cream-colored paper. Yellow lilies with fine black outlines span the center; three open flowers and buds sprout from tapering green leaves arcing toward the right. A square red seal with Japanese calligraphy (see "Inscriptions") sits on the right, while small black characters mark the center fold. The book is bound in an orange floral silk cover.
