Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
A woodblock-printed book in black ink features Japanese calligraphy and a red seal in the upper left corner of a two-page spread, above a single sweeping leaf. The right section displays a cluster of orchids growing upward. Within black rectangular borders, varying ink tones define the slender forms. Dark strokes highlight the narrow leaves, while lighter, loose strokes depict the delicate orchid petals nestled among them.
