Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
An open woodblock-printed book features a two-page ink design of a grapevine on cream paper. Large, jagged leaves sprout from a thin, winding branch on the left. On the right, a dense cluster of round grapes in varied gray and black tones hangs from a vine. A square red seal with Japanese characters sits in the lower right. Thin black borders frame the design within an orange-and-gold patterned brocade cover.
