Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
An open woodblock-printed book is framed by a gold brocade cover. Within thin black rectangular borders on aged paper, ink spiders are scattered. On the left, three spindly ones cluster near the base. On the right, a larger spider descends toward a pale circular moon, flanked by six smaller ones. Vertical columns of black calligraphy and a small red seal occupy the lower right corner, set against the warm-toned background.
