Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
A woodblock-printed book spread features black and gray ink on paper depicting bamboo stalks and leaves. On the left, slender stalks and narrow, tapered leaves reach toward the center. More leaves cluster at the bottom right. The upper right corner contains vertical black calligraphy above two red square seals. Thin black lines frame the scene, which is set within a patterned orange and gold fabric binding.
