Did You Know?

Shazanrō was one of Tani Bunchō's style names.
An open book features two distinct sides. The left consists of a dark blue paper cover with a vertical cream label and black Japanese calligraphy. On the right, a shimmering silver rectangle is framed by nested borders: an inner dark blue floral textile and an outer orange textile with gold and green cloud patterns. Faint wear and discoloration appear along the edges of the cover and the decorative textile frame.
