A horizontally oriented engraving in black ink depicts an ornate column capital. Centered among dense, jagged leaves, the winged figure of Fame sits holding two long trumpets. Winged horses emerge from the upper corners, facing away from each other toward the outer edges. A single flower sits at the top center below a curved architectural rim. Fine, hatched linework creates depth and texture across the symmetrical design.
