An open woodblock-printed book reveals two cream-colored pages filled with vertical columns of black ink calligraphy. Loopy characters streak down the upper sections in long, continuous lines, the ink occasionally fading or thickening with the brush's motion. Below, smaller characters are organized into dense blocks. A vertical fold splits the spread, and the paper shows slight wear and darkening along its edges.
