An open spread from a bound volume displays two aged pages of cream paper. The horizontally oriented layout features a nearly blank left page with faint horizontal lines and creases. On the right, several vertical columns of fluid, black ink script flow downward. Groups of smaller characters are clustered in the lower right corner. The weathered paper shows subtle yellowing and a visible, grainy surface throughout.
