An open woodblock-printed book features vertical columns of black ink calligraphy on textured cream paper. Fluid, cursive characters flow from top to bottom, with smaller rows of text along the lower edge. A vertical crease marks the center binding. Minor staining appears at the outer margins of the warm-toned pages. The brushed strokes transition from the right page to the left, reflecting traditional Japanese book layout.
