A woodblock-printed book spread features two open pages of cream paper with vertical columns of black-inked Japanese script. The loopy characters streak down the page in varying thicknesses, packed densely in the upper sections. Beneath, larger characters form sparser rows along the bottom edge. A thin blue binding strip appears on the far left. The paper shows slight wear and discoloration along its outer edges.
