An open woodblock-printed book features vertical columns of black-inked calligraphy on aged, cream paper. Loopy characters streak down each page in rounded, undulating strokes. On the right, long lines transition into smaller, staggered rows at the bottom, mirrored by fluid columns on the left. Faint staining marks the top edges of the spread, where the ink occasionally fades into a lighter gray against the paper's fibrous texture.
