A horizontally oriented woodblock-printed book features two distinct pages bisected by a thin cord. Dense columns of black ink calligraphy are brushed onto the cream-colored paper, their strokes splaying across the matte surface like frenetic strands. Below, shorter characters sit in a sparse row. The paper, peppered with warm-toned spots, preserves a structured frenzy of script flowing right to left, thinning into delicate grayed remnants at the margins.
