A woodblock-printed book features a two-page spread of black ink calligraphy on beige paper. Vertical columns of flowing, loopy script fill the pages, anchored by rows of smaller characters at the base. A central binding seam divides the horizontal composition, with the right page overlapping the left. Light brown discoloration accents the top edges, while dark ink streaks across the paper in graceful, varying densities typical of traditional Japanese script.
