A woodblock-printed book lies open to a two-page spread of aged, flecked cream paper. Vertical columns of black ink script streak down the pages in loopy, undulating strokes. The handwriting is fluid and gestural, with larger characters above and smaller, denser rows at the bottom. Small binding holes mark the central seam, while the ink's varying intensity adds movement and texture to the weathered, hand-lettered text.
