A woodblock-printed book of ink and color on paper features a two-page spread. The page on our left is blank textured cream paper. The page on our right features vertical columns of black Japanese calligraphy with fluid, undulating brushstrokes of varying weight. Smaller characters cluster at the bottom of the columns on our far right. A small fragment of blue binding is visible at the bottom left corner.
